Re: Pahari Conference Report-DRAFT

We are writing to you to draw your attention to the above report outlining the proceedings of a conference held on 22 March 2005 at the Woodsley Road  Multi-cultural Centre in Leeds to raise awareness of the Pahari language which is spoken by the majority of Azad Kashmiri community settled in Britain.

We would like you to include this report as part of your consultation process and see it as a further contribution towards recognising Kashmiris as a separate ethnic category. The Final report will be available at the end of September.
